In USA there is a health cover available for aged and disabled people and also those who fall under the section of poor people. However, there is no health cover available for unemployed, self employed or people who survive with part time job. It has been found after recent research that major reason of bankruptcy in America is due to heavy medical expenses. Many employed people who have lost their job also became bankrupt due to severe medical expenses. However, politicians are strongly against providing universal health insurance plan to cover all citizens of America.
